Our Mission

At Seeley Lake Water District, we are committed to providing safe, high quality water services to our community, while maintaining a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation.

AMI Project

Back in April 2023 the district was awarded a grant, from Missoula County, that would fully fund a project to migrate the meter reading from drive by mode (Automatic Meter Reading or AMR) to a tower system (Advanced Metering Infrastructure or AMI).  Early in April a devise will be installed on the cell tower in town that will automatically collect the meter readings.  The meters will then be remotely migrated to this new way of collecting the readings, i.e. they will be sent directly to the office, via the cloud.  Yes, this means that you will no longer see Tammy sitting in your driveway waiting for your meter to read :-)

Once this system is up and running the meters can be accessed totally remotely.  The readings will be sent more frequently.  This will allow the district to identify leaks much quicker, reducing the loss to the district, while also minimizing any damage to the customer's home.     

Board Meetings

The April board meeting was postponed.  The meeting has been rescheduled and will be held on May 2, 2024, beginning at 5:30pm.
